The title itself is a portmanteau: Swahili + Chakacha, reflecting the essence of the project: an exploration of Swahili cultural heritage reimagined through the pulse of modern electronic dance music.
Swakacha is more than an album; it is a resonant dialogue between past and present. Rooted in Swahili lyricism, coastal chakacha rhythms, and African percussion, the project fuses these traditions with Afro-house and electronic textures that command global dance floors.
